PRODUK TERBARU APPLE "iPhone 4G"

            Ajang Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) akan digelar. Kemungkinan besar, Steve Jobs, Chief Executive Officer Apple akan memperkenalkan gadget Apple terbarunya yang disebut sebagai “iPhone 4G” di ajang tersebut.

Jika melihat keberhasilan smartphone besutan Apple sebelumnya, ada peluang bahwa produk generasi keempat tersebut juga bisa meraih sukses. Akan tetapi, kini kompetisinya sudah kian sengit. Sekalipun produk tersebut dilengkapi dengan mikroprosesor terbaru, kinerja grafis yang lebih tinggi, kapasitas penyimpanan lebih besar, dua kamera resolusi tinggi untuk merekam dan video call, ancaman dari smartphone Android semakin hebat.

Selain itu, masih ada Nokia - yang saat ini masih merupakan produsen smartphone terbesar - yang akan menghadirkan produk berbasis MeeGo. Belum lagi Microsoft bersama partner-partnernya akan merilis ponsel berbasis Windows Phone 7 dalam waktu dekat. “iPhone 4.0 mungkin akan tetap membuat Apple punya peluang yang sangat baik,” kata Carolina Milanesi, analis Gartner seperti dikutip dari XbitLabs, 5 Juni 2010. “Akan tetapi, apakah Apple akan melenggang dan memimpin pasar? Belum tentu. Android akan melaju pesat beberapa waktu ke depan,” ucapnya.
